Macedonia Community Club (MCC) Social Distancing Guidelines & Procedures
-Parents to ensure kids stay in car until kids from previous game(s) leave the park.
-Coaches to ensure kids/families leave directly after game to ensure next team can start on time.
-Batting cage not to have more than 1 coach and 2 kids at a time. (One kid on outside and one hitting).
-Coaches each have sanitizer for the team to use between drills. Each player to sanitize at least 2x during game. All teams will be given sanitizer to use; refills can be done when needed at the concession stand
-Only 3-5 Teammates in the dugout at one time; all other players will sit with parents until time to play
-If player uses pitcher mask/catchers gear; he should use his own or coach can wipe off with sanitizer after each use
-Parents/coaches re-enforce with kids: no hugs, handshakes, high fives, horseplay.
-Parents to emphasize with kids that even if their respective family is comfortable; not every family will be in the same boat.
-Parents to be extra critical of any child not feeling well; coughing, slight fever, etc. DO NOT bring your children if there is even minor concern.
-Parents can watch games but please use social distancing best practices and spread out at least 6-ft apart. Also-if you have smaller kids/siblings, they MUST be with you at all times (playground and basketball court will be closed until further notice).
-Only immediate family as spectators for now until the next phase of guidelines are released and when this bullet point is removed from the guidelines
-We recommend no sharing of gear such as bats and gloves, etc.
-No team snacks after games. Teams will gather their gear, clean dugout with sanitizer, throw all trash away, and leave in a timely manner to allow next team(s) to access dugout/field
Thank you for your cooperation!
