Can my player play up an age group?
We understand that there are situations where birthdays and skill levels may conflict with the established cut off dates. We have developed mechanisms to address the host of issues relative to cut off dates including: issues of children who just miss a birthday cutoff, have siblings that desire to play together, players that have demonstrated skill to move up in age groups.
These issues cannot all be resolved during the registration process, so if your child has an issue that we should review please let us know. Please understand that not all requests will be granted and the first criteria we review is player safety. We will review these petitions and provide a disposition prior to evaluations.
During evaluations a child that desires to play up will need to be ranked in the top three rounds of players in the requested age group open evaluations based on independent evaluator scores. If your child's petition is granted to play up there may be differences in registration prices for tee ball players.
From time to time there will be circumstances beyond the contemplated scope of these park rules. A parent may request the executive board to review the matter. The executive board will consider the submission and make a ruling. These rulings are final.
Macedonia Community Club desires to be as accommodating as possible with requests but cannot approve all petitions.
